Loved this book! Beautifully and lyrically written, with some great basic (but heretofore not used, by me anyway!) instructions on how to live more joyfully. The spirituality of this book moved me as well as the real life examples of how-to's. It's an inspiring book on so many levels and even if you have nothing to ask for, you WILL learn something that you can apply to your every day, more-joyful-life! Having known the authors personally, I can only tell you that this book is an extension of their very loving, joyful selves, which makes it a must-read for me. EVERYONE can take away something good from reading this.
When you receive something great, pass it on, the joy will be doubled and tripled, that is what motivates me to write my very first book review at . For anyone who wants to live a happy, fulfilling, and worries free life, this is a must read. It is common to see people struggle, including the highly intelligent and fortunate ones some are blessed with great health, good looks, wealth, yet have their personal life inflicted with constant struggles; some have great wealth, lovely family, yet suffer from poor health, while there are ones who are super intelligent, yet bankrupt financially or spiritually, or both. Easily the best book I have ever read on the law of attraction! Receive Joy is a master class that goes beyond The Secret. This is a must read that can be read and put into practice again and again for anyone who desires to manifest more joy, ease, and peace in their life. Since I have started practicing the exercises in this book my life is becoming so much lighter, easier and more joyful in so many extraordinary ways! Receive Joy is an interactive primer with many practical, easy to do exercises, awesome stories, and everyday examples of how to live life as the miracle that it truly is in each moment! For example, one of the simple gifts of this book was becoming more aware of the words I say everyday and how they create my reality. The suggestion that I have started practicing with much success is replacing a common vernacular heard today, "no worries” with the words "All is well!" Vibrationally this makes a huge shift! This book explains why this shift happens and how this shift is so important for receiving more joy and so much more! Thank you so much to the authors of this extraordinary book! This is a wonderful book. It is very spiritual but you don't need to be Christian to benefit from
its excellent format and information. There are answers, there are activities, there are exercises
to help live a more positive life. The best book I have ever read on the power of "positive",and it
showed me how to do it. I am Jewish and I can see it in the hands of all my friends. For almost
four months I have been a Messianic Jew. That mean I took Christ as my savior. I can definitively
say whether a Christian or a Jew, or any other persuasion, there is a great deal to get from Ask And You Shall Receive.
It is done by some very smart people from Receive Joy.
Ask and You Shall Receive is obviously written from a place of Passion, Knowledge, and Experience. The numerous real-life examples you will read (many times, if you are like me) balance well with the How-To sections and the positivity that courses throughout the pages infuses the book with an energy of purposeful pace that also gives abundant time to absorb and apply the ideas and exercises. From a personal point of view, the contents of this book have already begun working in my life. I am practicing what is prescribed and seeing results. I found it to speak clearly to me. If you have a penchant for practical solutions and clear instructions it will certainly be satisfied. The precepts and ideas in the book are familiar from the works of teachers like Wayne Dyer, Caroline Myss, and Ram Dass, yet they are presented in such a way as to be brand new. No one, in my extensive study of both spiritual practices and storytelling, has focused so clearly on the Word, the all-important Logos. Receive Joy's stated goal is a book that is "light and easy." I found it to be tremendously so! It has Air, Space, Peace, and Love infused in it. This book was a great gift that came at the perfect time in my life.
